Welcome to Shoal Point Montessori, the home of the Montessori method in Ajax. Geography and Location We are situated in south Ajax, off Shoal Point, and only 15 minutes walking distance to the Lake. The closest main intersection is Bayly and Shoal Point, just East of Salem. The Property Shoal Point Montessori is located in a walk out basement of my detached home. It is a spacious environment, filled with plenty of natural light from the windows. The property boasts several facilities such as a fully equipped classroom, functional child-sized wooden kitchen and a washroom. A recreational lounge is dedicated to story time, music, quiet time and make-believe play, where children can dress-up and act. The garden is very spacious, yet secure, and complete with a wooden swing set, monkey bars, rock wall and slide to improve gross motor skills. A sand and water play area is also available to help children explore textures and perceptive learning. There is a picnic table where children can enjoy their lunch outside (weather permitting) and a gazebo for special art classes such as tie dying, finger painting and marbling. A designated area will also be allocated for gardening in the spring and summer months.
